Helping Veterans Save on Travel
Here at Military Injury we understand just what a significant expense travelling can be, especially for those who have family further afield or are regularly having to attend medical appointments. That’s why we want to highlight the Veterans' Railcard. It helps reduce these costs by offering 1/3 off rail fares for eligible veterans and their family members and it also serves as a small but meaningful recognition of service.
Benefits of a railcard
The Veterans' Railcard provides:
- 1/3 off most rail fares, including Standard and First-Class Anytime, Off-Peak, and Advance tickets.
- Discounts for companions (1/3 off) and up to three children (60% off) when travelling together.
- Exclusive offers and additional savings on attractions and services.
Check eligibility
The Veterans' Railcard is available to:
- Those who have served at least one day in the UK Armed Forces (Regular or Reserve).
- Veterans from the Merchant Navy who participated in armed conflicts.
- Applicants with a Veteran’s ID Card or other proof of service.
Visit Veterans' Railcard website for more information on eligibility.
